FLEXOMETER OVERVIEW

Manual Flexometer

Flexometer Overview

A. Manual Flexometer

Manual Compression Flexometer, also known as the Goodrich Flexometer, provides all values according to ASTM D 623 or ISO 4666/3 requirements. The DOLI Flexometer does not require any further attendance after the specimens have been placed into the system, as the software detects measuring values independently. The values are comparable amongst themselves and measurement errors caused by the operator are eliminated

Since 1984, the DOLI Compression Flexometer offers a feature that allows measuring the centre temperature of the specimen directly after the test: the puncture needle. Its main advantage is: Temperature measurement for each specimen always happens after the same period of time - directly after the motor has been turned off.

The puncture needle is available for the manual as well as for the fully automated Flexometer. All of our Flexometer customers have chosen this option.

Fully Automated Flexometer
B. Fully Automated Flexometer

The fully automated DOLI Compression Flexometer provides all values following ASTM D 623 or ISO 4666/3 requirements, just like the manual Flexometer. The main advantage of this version is its ability to automatically load 10 specimens (optional 20) from the silo for testing. Optionally, you also have the possibility to measure the specimen height before and after the test. The height measurement station comes with 2 cooling stations and can be upgraded with 3 additional cooling stations. The test run has the following sequence: The specimen is loaded out of the silo and its height is measured. Then comes the pre-heating sequence, followed by the actual test. After that, the specimen is cooled down for a predefined period and then, a second height measurement follows. Finally, the specimen gets disposed. The determination of the 'Permanent Set', therefore, happens automatically, too.

Ultimate Flexometer
C. Ultimate Flexometer

Our latest Flexometer is available either as fully automated or as manual version. But it has an even higher automation level than the standard fully automated Flexometer. Neither the eccentric must be adjusted manually nor do the weights have to be put up by hand. The new Flexometer handles all tasks automatically.

The major advantages: All parameters can be changed for each new test by software. Preheating-time, test-time, additional loads to the specimen, stroke, temperature and cooling time after the test. All results are detected and stored. A silo capacity of 56 specimens allows unattended tests even during the weekend. Of course it is guaranteed, that all parameters of all specimens are detected and processed within the same time period without human influence.
