HP-E
II Series Durometers are high-end digital hardness testers for accurate
and repeatable hardness measurement of rubber, plastics and other
elastomers within the Shore A, D, B, O, OO, OOO, C, DO scales and
much more.
The new generation of HPE digital durometer offers extended range
of applications as well as data logger and a new innovative radio
data communication feature, which makes the HPE Series the most
technologically advanced digital durometers on the market at a reasonable
price.
This potable
handy instrument is available in the widest range of scales including
Shore A, B, O, OO, OOO, D, C, DO and L, L/c as well as Asker C,
CS, F, and BARCOL.
HPE II can be
conveniently used in any vertical or horizontal position, and also
in hard to reach areas. This unit can be used with the optional
test stand as a bench-top laboratory Shore durometer.
The patented
pressing mechanism, integrated into the HPE digital durometer, ensures
a constant contact pressure according to standard, eliminating measuring
errors caused and influenced by tilting or slope contact. The electronics
is made into a robust and rugged aluminum shell, while the operation
is done via a clearly arranged keyboard with an easy to read display.
With using two buttons, the instrument is switched on and off and
the measuring time can be adjusted from zero to 99 s. A flashing
display indicates the current real-time measurement; while a beep
signal announces the end of the measurement. The measured value
will be shown on the display until the next measurement, and subsequently
the measured value can be transferred to PC or printer via the RS232-interface.
An easy to exchange
battery with a lifetime of more than 2,000 hours is that is needed
for keeping the HPE digital durometer running. A durable case, a
PC cable and a detailed operating manual is included as the standard
configuration.
As data-logging
options, the users can have the following two possibilities:
- A data logger,
which can store up to 200 measured values per series of measurements,
for further statistical evaluations. In total 10 series of measurements
are available, and data transfer to a serial printer or PC is also
possible.
- A radio transmission,
where the measured values of the HPE digital durometer are sent
through a transmitter to a receiver, which is attached to the RS232-interface
of the PC/Laptop. On PC, the collected data can be further processed
using the advanced HardTest data management software, or can be
directly imported into other statistical programs. Ann additional
program allows direct reading of the data in Microsoft Excel.
As optional
accessory for HPE Digital Durometer you can have attachable prisms
for hardness test on rollers and/or round cords.
