Diversity
– Precision – Userfriendliness
The vast scope of M1C applications
and its unique testing range of up to 31.25 kilograms within
a closed-loop system enable various testing procedures. M1C
replaces the two hardness testers usually required to include
both the micro/semi-macro and macro ranges to cover optimally
the vast testing range. The closed-loop system of the M1C includes
control or measurement electronics, a load cell, and a DC motor
coupled with intelligent software to ensure ongoing and comple-te
monitoring of the testing procedure. |

Limited
precision of repeat measurements is no longer a problem with
our hardness testing devices thanks to highly sophisticated
software solutions. We gua-rantee maximum precision measuring
and indentation evaluation based on software-controlled operation
of hardness testing devices and high-performance image analysissystems.
Our devices provide individually defined test processes according
to yourneeds, from setting individual test points and fully
automated test procedures to deter-mining defined test points
in a coordinate system. Ecos offers users countless possi-bilities
to enhance test procedures, measurement series, and results
through imageand documentation functions. |
Ecos
010/Image Astonishing image analysis – see it for yourself
With the image analysis card, this
software module contained in the basic unit enables imaging
of the indentation on the PC. Software-supported measuring of
the indentat-ion is performed according to standards and the
result is displayed. The technologybehind ecos 010/Image is
perfectly compatible with our hardness testing devices, ensuring
high repeat precision for different surfaces via automatic brightness
con-trol and preventing human errors. |
Ecos KM1 – second camera for M1 devices, Sophisticated
module for flexible processing and simple handling |
The
second CCD camera with lens and software control the module
via a macro fieldof view of 40 mm x 30 mm. In addition, the
module’s state-of-the-art features includeeasy set-up and storage
of test points, test samples, and test series including weld
testsamples. An image-pasting feature for adding images into
the evaluation report ideallysupplements ecos 030 und ecos 040.
Display of a general image of 30 x 40 mm or 70x 50 mm (optional)
enables users to define test points on the work piece to be
tested,to draw up a protocol via image in the report, and to
store values in a database. Further, starting points of series
and individual test points are defined directly with the secondcamera.
To facilitate handling, reference and grid lines may be superimposed
on theimage, assisting in the creation of test samples and enabling
simple image magnifica-tion via digital zoom.
In addition, users may create test point templates, save them
in form of levels, re-loadthem, and adapt individual settings.
The possibility to define virtual reference edges isan invaluable
tool for simple and quick measuring procedures of the same sequenceson
several work pieces. |
 |
Ecos 040/Multiple test specimens For users with daily,
multiple, or flexible testing needs – be on the safe side |
| The
Ecos 040 software module enables testing of individual and multiple
test speci-mens in user-specific holding fixtures, providing
for an unlimited number of holding fix-tures if work piece size
and X/Y slide size are adjusted accordingly. Size and individu-al
fixtures are easily defined (the specimen holders for six specimens
pre-defined). The different fixtures are administered in a database,
the number of test runs ineach fixture if unlimited as they
are also stored and can be loaded whenever required. To facilitate
utilization individual test batches can be predefined. In addition
differentprogression patterns and test series with different
test methods can be defined foreach fixture. |
 |
Ecos 030/CHD-C (Eht-C)CHD (Eht) measurements according
to standards –easier than ever |
| The
software module enables testing of CHD (Eht), Rht, and Nht progressions
accor-ding to DIN ISO 2639. Besides offering high-performance
reporting functions, this de-vice equipped with a stepping motor-controlled
X-/Y-axis slide also allows for optimalutilization of all ecos
basis features. Hardness limit input for evaluation, definition
of testpoints in a grid, and automated calculation of test point
spacing according to standardscan be selected and set according
to individual needs. Comprehensive evaluation and statistics
functions of measurement values and several test series involving
one workpiece, as well as real-image starting point definition
and automatic stoppage if valuesdrop below the hardness limit
optimize measurement procedures. |
|
ecos
060/manual CHD (Eht) cycles All-around features for the best
price
Manual CHD (Eht) and Rht test series
are created with ecos 060 and M1Z040 X-/Y slides.Reporting functions
include professional CHD (Eht) images. Combined with theM1Z040
X-/Y slides, slide travel is automatically transferred to images
through feed-back and the software dialogue. |
ecos 001/Host Access
Standard/ecos 002/Host Access Open Optimal efficiency and minimal
error quotes
The large number of measurement
values accumulated during an extensive qualityassurance process
requires high-precision IT-supported QA systems. Complete docu-mentation
and data accurately assigned to each work piece are crucial
in obtaininghigh precision results. To minimize the risk of
data errors and to increase overall pro-cess efficiency, an
interface connection to the QA server enables direct transfer
ofparameters to the hardness testing device. Unique ecos 001/ecos
HOST ACCESS STANDARD technology ensures direct
reception by each hardness testing device of alldata generated
on the HOST computer. After conclusion of the test procedure
dataincluding the new test values is transferred back to the
HOST computer for further pro-cessing.
The interface of HOST ACCESS OPEN is easily
adjusted to customer needs. Uniformdata storage
and evaluation of measurement values enable company-wide comparisonof
results, and software-supported logging, monitoring, evaluation,
selection, andrepresentation ensure production-relevant quality
information. |
