QualiBrineller - Advanced Load Cell type Brinell Hardness Tester for loads from 62.5kgf to 3000kgf. The QualiBrineller is the ideal tester for Medium to low testing volumes. The rugged design of the tester makes it suitable for Production/Shop environment as well as lab settings. The QualiBrineller offers market leading price performance ratio and the tester is available with or without built in digital brinell microscope with automatic image analysis software.
The Qualibrineller utilizes closed loop load cell technology for load application and measurement. The load cell technology eliminates the need of handling heavy weights or high maintenance hydraulic load application systems. The tester sequence is fully automatic and the tester will guide an operator through the selection process of proper brinell scale for different materials. The large LCD display also informs the operator of what indenter that needs to be used with the selected Brinell scale.
Features
- Innovative closed-loop technology. The tester incorporates the latest load cell technology. The test load is applied via a closed-loop control unit with a load cell, a DC motor and an electronic measurement and control unit. The result is highly accurate measurements at all test loads up to 0.5%. The common problem with load overshoot or undershoot as known from traditional dead weight, or open-loop, systems is eliminated. The absence of mechanical weights not only eliminates friction problems but also makes the equipment less sensitive to misalignments caused by vibrations.
- The whole weight of the tester is 50% less than the traditional dead weight type tester.
- Test load selection by keyboard and LCD screen. No need of handling heavy weights or clean messy oil.
- Fully automatic test cycles. The hardness Tester features a fully automatic test cycle, load application, holding, unloading, is performed fully automatically. This greatly improves reproducibility of test results since operator influence is eliminated.
- Selectable dwell time. The indenter, load, and other test information are clearly displayed on the large LCD screen.
- Directions for 0.102F/D2 ratios selection according to the materials and hardness.

Optional Built in Brinell Indentation Measuring System, with automatic image analysis software – QualiBrineller QS

The QualiBrinell QS model is equipped with a built in brinell indentation measuring system. The fully automatic image analysis software can be installed on most modern desktop or laptop PC's and features:
- Brinell indention measurement system which automatically measures the Brinell indention accurately, quickly, reliably. It is a new measuring method that uses a CCD camera to capture the indention image and powerfull image analysis software for measuring the size of the indentation and calculating the brinell hardness of the tested material. The built in system saves valuable operator time and increases the accuracy of the measurement compared to reading diameter with an optical microscope where the operator has to calculate the hardness value from the measured diameter
- The tester is connected to any PC with USB port and running the included SPC software, then the special software supplying simplest operation as following.
- Operating System: Windows 2000, XP, and Vista
- Fully automatic Image analysis software
- Qualitest software, programmed in-house
- Readout given in Brinell hardness and diameter of measurement.
- Conversion to other hardness scales according to ASTM E-140.
- Unlimited number of files for storing test results including image of the indentation and descriptive information.
- Each measurement is stored with its image which allows for re-evaluation of results
- Data sets can be freely selected and exported to Excel and other software for further analysis
