Sheet Metal Testing Machine Calibration Set - Model 170
When using our sheet metal testing machines for quality assurance a re-calibration in compliance with the inspection of testing equipment prescribed in DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 is indispensable. For this purpose we recommend the Calibration Set, Model 170, allowing to examine the blank holder force and the drawing force as well as the punch stroke.
The electrical force transducers are tailored to the corresponding sheet metal testing machines and connected by a pressure converter to a digital display unit. The nominal values (forces) being preset, the displayed values of the sheet metal testing machines are compared with those of the corresponding force transducers and the tolerances determined are maintained.
For the examination of the punch stroke a displacement transducer (digital gauge or dial gauge) is used which is adjusted to the test head of the testing machine by means of an adapter.
Field of Application
The Calibration Set is intended for users wishing to carry out a retraceable calibration or a shortterm inspection of their testing equipment and attaching at the same time great importance to high accuracy and to low expenditure. The Calibration Set; Model 170, is exclusively intended for the inspection of our sheet metal testing machines and should only be used by qualified personnel for re-calibration and control at regular intervals. Upon request, the calibration on site can be carried out by one of our servic technicians also being able to train the operators extensively on the handling of the testing equipment. For the recertification of the testing equipment the Calibration Set has to be returned to our factory or sent to an accepted national calibration service. In this way a retraceable measuring chain as required by DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 is established.
