ToniSET Compact is one of the most advanced and economical fully automatic Vicat cement tester on the market. The test procedure is programmed in accordance with ASTM C191 and the tester is designed to optimize space and test accuracy. The bench-top tester contains six independent Vicat chambers. Each chamber can be set for the test while the others are running. As the standardized Vicat test normally takes about a day to run, this tester will cut testing time dramatically while completely freeing your technicians to perform other tasks.
ToniSET is fully automated to drop the standard-specific Vicat needle into the mortar or cement specimen with computer precision timing. It records the depth of the needle and removes the needle from the sample. The needle is cleaned automatically and reset into position for the next drop. |

ToniSET Expert is a top-quality Vicat test system for users who commonly run a high quantity of concrete or gypsum setting time tests. It is a fully automated test system that uses 12 independently prepared and tested standard specimen containers according to EN 196 part 3 and DIN1164. The tester has a needle dropping mechanism that places itself accurately over the specimen to be tested, drops the required needle for the test and with a frictionless measuring system records the depth measurement. Once the needle is removed, it is cleaned and dried to be ready for use for the next drop.
ToniSET software uses a Windows interface which is user-friendly and easily navigated. Once the specimen type is entered into the system along with the placement of the sample, the fully automated test begins. All test parameters are recorded to allow easy processing of the results. The measurements can be shown graphically or statistically as numerical 9th degree polynomial interpolation. The software allows for overlay comparison testing between samples as well.
