Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - MX-1/MX-2

We are the leading source of Ultrasonic thickness gauges for the accurate measurement of nearly any material. Thickness gages include a wide range of features available for enhanced gauge performance. Ultrasonic thickness gauges can measure virtually most materials such as plastics, metals, metal composites, rubber and internally corroded materials.

Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - MX-1 Basic

The Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - MX-1 Basic is our basic MX-Series model. This gauge can be pre-programmed for a specific material type using a simple PC program. The MX-1 is an excellent choice for users that measure the same material type all the time, and do not have the need to re-calibrate to different materials on the fly. Note: The material velocity must be known prior to programming.

Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - MX-2

The Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - MX-2 has 8 common preset material types and 2 user programmable types. This makes the Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - MX-2 a little more flexible for those users that have a need to measure more than one material type. Our simple PC program allows the user to program the Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - MX-2 for two additional set material types. Note: The material velocity must be known prior to programming.

The Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - MX-1 will hold a single velocity, making it the perfect choice where one material is being tested day after day. With the preset velocity in the gauge, you simply turn on the gauge and you're ready to work.

The MX-2 is ideal for the person that tests a few different materials regularly. The Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - MX-2 contains 8 velocities of common materials and two velocities that the user can set using a simple sofware program.

The tool's backlit display on both MX-1 & MX-2 is easy to read, even in dim light, and the unit operates for up to 200 hours on a single set of batteries.

Both MX-1 and MX-2 thickness gauges come complete, ready to use, and are protected by 5 year limited warranty.
